*SAMPLE SALE* YSL: Young, Sexy, Lovely {part1}

Last week, Mizhattan first reported on the YSL Friends & Family sample sale. Today (though I write this post past midnight), the sale had a preview day for VIPs and after name checking at the entrance, I entered the sale with great excitement. First off, I have to say, the sale was AMAZING!!! From bags to shoes to jewelries and accessories, there was something for everyone (even for those who are on a budget).

Bags
There were 2 huge tables in the middle of the room full of bags. Unfortunately, if you are looking for the Muse/Muse Two bag, there were none. You will, however, find lots of Lovers (1st photo below) in beige, deep emerald, and black. They were priced $600 (originally $1,295). The Tanger2 tote in metallic gold was $350 (originally $645). The Y Bow bag in simple white was priced $750 (originally $1,695). Downtowns (7th photo below) were $895 (originally $1,850), and Doubles (8th photo below and only available in chocolate) were $695 (originally $1,195). The Sixties lizard skin evening clutches (3rd photo below) in pink and black were $500 (originally $1,895). All of these bags were in excellent condition.

After picking a few bags for myself as an early Christmas present, I proceeded to the clothing section. Stefano Pilati's contemporary designs for this French luxury brand were organized in different sizes (US 2~14/French 34~46). Among the many stylish pieces, here's what caught my attention: an oversized cape coat, monochrome pencil skirts, beautifully embellished dresses, construct sleek blazers, and colorful dresses that are perfect for both day & night. Prices were reasonable. Jackets were $400, pants $200, skirts $200, dresses $350, coats $650, blouses $175, sweaters $250, and tops $150. For the Mizhattan men (yes, there were men's apparel as well), pants ranged in sizes US 28~40/ French 44~56, while jackets were available in sizes US 36~46/ French 46~56.
