Isn't New York City absolutely wonderful when dressed up for the holidays? I was taking a night stroll on Fifth Avenue this weekend and found myself completely in awe of the city. How can you not be when the Harry Winston boutique sparkles brighter than their diamonds (photo above) and the Bulgari store is wrapped around in a luminescent version of their iconic Serpenti necklace. In addition, I found Henri Bendel paying homage to the roaring twenties and Barneys bringing Disney characters to life. (I know Barneys is actually located on Madison Ave. but call it a bonus!) If you don't mind being inside the hustle of the tourist crowd, I highly suggest walking along Fifth Avenue at night and enjoying the holiday decorations. You'll fall in love with New York City all over again. I know I did.
