*MIZSPECIAL* 100 Years of Chanel {Part 1: Coco Chanel}

It was 1913 in Deauville when Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel opened her first boutique and began her sartorial legacy. She inspired women to dress freely and taught them everything about elegance & class. Chanel is celebrating 100 years and I just couldn't pass the chance to create a MizSpecial on Coco Chanel. Click past the break and you'll find a pictorial featuring Daria Werbowy posing as Coco Chanel. Then, I picked out my favorite quotes by Chanel. Lastly, I put together items that are inspired by Chanel's style. Stay tuned for the second part of this MizSpecial: 100 Years of Chanel.

Just like a Chanel jacket that never falls out of style, Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel's iconic style lasts forever. Here's to another stylish century of Chanel!

Clockwise from top left: Pink tweed jacket from Alice + Olivia, striped top from Wood Wood, hat from Tsuyumi, pearl earrings from Kate Spade, pearl necklace from Banana Republic, white flower brooch from Moschino, cap-toe ballerina flats from Prada, Rouge Coco lipstick in Cambon from Chanel, Coco eau de parfum spray from Chanel, cardigan from Erika Cavallini Semi Couture, pearl bow necklace from Lanvin, quilted bag from Rebecca Minkoff, pearl sandals from Rene Caovilla, Coco necklace from Boticca, crystal earrings from Oscar de la Renta, and tweed skirt from J.Crew.
