We all know retail establishments like H&M and Target are leaders in covetable designer collabs. Well, Macy's is catching up quickly by heading to the right direction. Following the Karl Lagerfeld for Macy's collaboration, the department store will be launching Giambattista Valli for Macy's on October 26th. You may already know from my previous articles that there are a few other designer collabs happening this fall: Uniqlo +J, Missoni for Target, Versace for H&M, and Karl Lagerfeld for Macy's. As much as I'm excited for all these collabs, words cannot describe my joyous anticipation for this particular Giambattista Valli collab. According to WWD, the collection will be priced between $50~$150 and will feature cocktail dresses, skirts, blouses, jackets, and more. Here are some of my favorite looks created by Mr. Valli. But to fully appreciate Giambattista's work, you really must see his collections from Spring 2007, Fall 2008, Spring 2009, Resort 2010, & his first–ever couture collection. Bravo, Macy's!
