*SAMPLE SALE* Yves Saint Laurent YSL

Last year's YSL Friends & Family sale was an epic event with the queue stretching around the block and commotion all around. Well, Mizhattan is pleased to announce the dates & location for this year's event. The Yves Saint Laurent sale will start June 12th at a new venue, Soiffer Haskin. Expect to find deep discounts on the label's exquisite womenswear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, and jewelry. Now that Stefano Pilati has left the French house, this may be your last chance to snag one of his designs for a bargain. From my past experience, this event is a fashionista's and frugalista's dream. Speaking of past experience, be sure to read the full Mizhattan reports from the previous two YSL F&F sale: Oct. '10 & Oct. '11.

  6. Gosh last years was insane! People brought their posses (guys) and they were snatching everything up as they were restocking. And people were literally just hanging around inside for hours just waiting on the restocking and when it did come, people ran, pushing, grabbing, and falling over. I even saw two women that were arguing over a muse2 that they grabbed simutaneously. It was the most ridic. SS everrrr~

Its seems really worth it if you absol. love anything ysl/ or you can get there superrr early. Oh and waiting in the cold on a rainy to get in was not fun...

  14. Hi Mizz, thanks for the great news! I'll try to go Wednesday at 1pm (because I have morning classes)and Friday in early morning such as 7am. When do you think is the best time to go on Wendesday and Fri?
I worried about that Friday will be last day So, do you think they'll have lots of stuffs(especially scarf and bag)?
    Thank you!

  15. Do they accept Debit card also?

  16. Palo, Yes the sale will be open to the public on the 12th.

To Anonymous Above, The earlier you go the better. It's better to get there an hour before it opens and wait than to go later and having to wait even longer. Your choice between Weds afternoon & Fri morning aren't particularly the best, but if I had to choose, Weds would be the one.

To the other Anonymous above, The invite states credit cards are accepted, so I see no reason why debit cards wouldn't be accepted.

  19. I got there yesterday at 8 zm the line was already very very long, entered at 11:30am and the wallets were all gone, the bags, almost everythg eas gone but the shoe section was the most satisfying one. Hope found somthg left. First time for for to go a sample sale, but I now understand those who come earlier t least you don't wait too long once they open and moreover you get more choices.

  23. I was on the line at 6:20am and waited 4 hours to get in and there was no nice bags at all! I was really disappointment with this sale compared to last year. Last year I got the muse bag for $700 and a pair of shoes for $100. It seems like the price went up this year and didn't have such a great stock. :( I didn't ended up getting the bag I wanted because it wasn't there.
