*SAMPLE SALE* Tribute to YSL

Ever since he stepped into the giant shoes vacated by Tom Ford in 2004, Stefano Pilati continued to design collections that epitomize bold, fearless, and fashionable women of today. His ongoing rumors of departure from the French house became reality after eight successful years at Yves Saint Laurent. I've been attending the label's sample sales for years, but today's sale--opened to VIP & Press--definitely felt sentimental. Putting my emotions aside, I'm sure many of you are dying to know more about the sale, so let's get down to business!

Yves Saint Laurent has always been on top of my list when it comes to NYC sample sales "worthy-of-a-long-wait-in-line". Though there's always lots of chaos & commotion, I ALWAYS find amazing deals & come away feeling giddy and yearning for the return of the next sale. Now that the brand has found a new venue at Soiffer Haskin to host this year's sale, I was definitely curious to see if the same spectacular savings on Pilati's past designs would be available again. I'll get into the details in a minute but to briefly compare today's sale with last year's: there was definitely much more quantity in inventory but the sad news is that prices have gone up.

Let's start from the handbag section. Like I said up above, there was tons of merchandise. I spotted medium Easys in black, small Chych flap clutches in white, Muses & Muse Twos in various leathers & colors, as well as a nice selection of minaudieres. Prices for bags were divided into 6 color groups: purple stickers were $800, pinks were $700, greens were $600, oranges were $500, blues were $400, and yellows were $200. Though it was nice to see YSL's coveted bags like the Muse & Easy on sale, overall, I was not too impressed with the rest of the selection. Please also note that you're only permitted 5 bags per person. Next up, shoes.

I actually had more fun in the shoe section than any other. Located on the left side of the room, sizes were available from 34~42, and the racks were FILLED with sandals, pumps, flats, wedges, and boots. And here's the most exciting part. There were LOTS of Tributes this year!! From red patent leathers to fuchsias & greens in suedes, I have never seen so many Tributes at a YSL sample sale before. Tribute sandals & Trib Two pumps were priced $350 while the rest of shoes were priced $200. Boots were located separately by the entrance and they were $350. The biggest steal, according to an employee, were the Wellington jelly boots. They were priced $50 only! As impressive as this sounds, I have to say, I discovered a bigger steal. The suede starfish platform wedges currently being sold for $955.50 at NET-A-PORTER were $200 only!! I also found Opyum pumps (15th photo below) that are being sold for $670 at Mytheresa, discounted down to $200 at this event.

In the RTW section, I found jackets priced $300, skirts for $100, dresses for $300, tops for $100, and swimwear for $50. Sizes were available from 34~44. Over at the accessory section, I saw a nice gathering of $75 sunglasses, $50 jewelry, and $50 small leather goods. Most shoppers were particularly interested in iPad cases & $50 jewelries.

As many of you may already know, tomorrow's official public opening coincidently overlaps with the Tory Burch sample sale. In case you've been debating which one to attend, I hope this review will help you decide where to go first. FYI, though I didn't have a chance to drop by the Tory Burch VIP preview today, I was informed that the sale was less than impressive. In case you decide to attend this YSL event, I suggest you thoroughly prepare yourself for massive mayhem. Also, don't forget to follow Mizhattan on Twitter to receive updates from this sale. Happy Shopping!

  1. Hi Miz, thank you for another great report!

How was the handbag inventory when you left? On racked someone commented that there were only 2 Muse bags and they sold out very quickly. I really want a large or medium Muse in any color, what do you think my chances are? I plan on waiting in line at 7am. Also do you know if bags and jewelry will be restocked throughout the sale?

    ReplyDelete
  2. Dina, I did ask an employee about restock but was only told that there was a "possibility".

    ReplyDelete
  3. Hi Miz, Are the arty rings $50? TIA!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Hi Miz,
    Is perfume being sold?
    large patent leather clutches?
    small colored coin purses?
    belle du jour wallets?
Thanks!! I can't wait to go!

    ReplyDelete
  5. No fragrance, and I don't remember seeing any belle du jour wallets. I only spotted Y-Mail wallets in silver. They were $100.

    ReplyDelete
  6. any cosmetic bags?

    ReplyDelete
  7. thank you for the great report! how early do you recommend to go for 9 am opening?

    ReplyDelete
  8. No cosmetic bags.

Jane, I would suggest arriving no later than 8am.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Thank you for the great review. How were the men's? Are there great selections? I have been to two YSL sample sales but I found that they had same clothings from previous sales. So I wonder if it is a repeat like last time. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Are they have leopare scarves??

    ReplyDelete
  11. thanks for great info!! I am wondering about the ostriches and crocodiles. In the picture, they are in purple tags, so it means they are $800?

    ReplyDelete
  12. How is the mens selection? suits?

    ReplyDelete
  13. First off men's selection always sucks at this sale so don't bother. Second, I got here at 7:30 and the line spans almost the entire avenue. :( The problem with this sale is that they always feature awesome stuff at the press preview and then by the time the public gets there everything is wiped out by the VIP's but the line remains. Last time I went all that was left on the first "public" day were damaged or ugly bags and clothes from '07 or '08. Haven't decided if I am going to stick around. Is this worth my boss's ire?

    ReplyDelete
  14. This looks fabulous - I'm not going to put up with the crowd this year haha but what a great review! I could have definitely gone for an Arty ring - yes everyone and their mother has one, but whatevs!

  15. To Anonymous above,
I didn't see any leopard scarves.
The ostrich bags you see in the photo were $800.
I did not have a chance to look over the menswear.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Were leather clutches $200 or more? Thanks for the awesome report!

    ReplyDelete
  17. A waste of time! clutches were $400, no wallets left. Tons of handbags, staff says will cut prices by 70% the final day at noon. Even then, I'm not sure if it would be worth it.

    ReplyDelete
  18. To Anonymous above, Sorry to hear the sale was a waste of time. I've been told by early morning shoppers that a lot of the coveted merchandise was taken right when the doors opened.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Thank you for the update! Are there any shoes left?

    ReplyDelete
  20. How long is the wait time this afternoon?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Were there any y-mail clutches?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Does anybody know how much is that white chyc flap bag

    ReplyDelete
  23. Mizhattan, no need to apologize! I am sure there were still great merchandise like you mentioned during the VIP sale and probably early in the morning. Thanks for updating us on the event- really appreciate it!

There's plenty of stuff left, but they are leftovers. I would advise that since it's all dregs left anyways, to wait until Friday at noon when they discount.

    No more chycs left.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Waited 4 hours to get in- and absolutely nothing. Got in right before noon and all the bags were picked over. I may just go back final day and poke my head it, but honest,y if you are thinking about going don't even bother.

    ReplyDelete
  25. :( are they going to restock? So I guess there is no point to go now ?

    ReplyDelete
  26. To Anonymous above,

    - There are shoes left.
    - There were Y-mail clutches yesterday & earlier this morning but don't know of current stock.
    - I was told that there is a "possibility" of a restock, will keep you updated via Twitter.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Wow Mizhattan, you must be very rich to go to all these private sample sales.

    ReplyDelete
  28. it sucked. prices were really too high even for YSL. Save your money to buy an apartment.

    ReplyDelete
  29. That's stupid. You don't need to be wealthy to go to private sales. Many fashion editors and insiders are invited. Mizhattan even wrote that she attended the "press" portion. My guess is that she's a high up in fashion because she seems to try and keep her posts extremely anonymous (i.e- no hint giving her away in any of her posts)

    ReplyDelete
  30. For anyonbe considering going now or after work, dont bother. Just came back from sale. There are mostly shoes. Not many bags, clutches or wallets. The guy handling the door line said folks were lined up since 3am the line started from 33rd St..down the block to 9th Ave & 32nd St. The early birds got the worms & great finds!! Kinda disappointed that I sttod in the rain for nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hopefully they will restock tomorrow! I doubt that they won't, why else would the sale go on for days if they only have enough stuff for one.

    ReplyDelete
  32. There is stuff just a lot of same ugly 4 or 5 bags unfortunately and shoes. A lot of nice clothing left if that's your aim.

    ReplyDelete
  33. and you would have needed to get online by 7am maximum to get anything descent.

    ReplyDelete
  34. my purpose to go there wasn to pick ostrich but they told it's not $800, but $1800. Also, croc one is $8000........

    ReplyDelete
  35. I thought the sale was absolutely amazing. I arrived in line at 7 am - got in around 10:30 and took two great bags off of the people who were in the first group in. (people were grabbing bags and holding on until they decided what they wanted) Bags were HIGHLY picked over by the time I got in. Clothes are great if you are thin figured. Boots not great. Shoes were very good as well. No "Y" bags in sight unfortunately.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Did they have any logos tees for men or woman?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hi, were there size 35s?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I was there @ 9am and waited about 4 hours to get in. There still some bags such as Downtown bag and Easy bag. No wallet and only few clutches left. There were plenty of shoes and RTW. Men's section are limited too.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Can anyone please tell me how is the stock of Trib Too pumps? That is my only interest. Worth going tomorrow morning? Thanks so much for any help.

    ReplyDelete
  40. To Anonymous above

    - I saw men's logo T-shirt on press day.
    - Sizes for shoes started from 34.

    ReplyDelete
  41. What forms of payments are they accepting?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I know a lot of ppl are complaining but I was happy with the sale. Got in line by 8:15 and only made it in by noon. Still I got 2 gold small Clutches for 100 each and a small purple patent with a long strap for the same. Also for a downtown in leather pewter and another bag. The 5 bag limit was fantastic - even when ppl hoarded you HAD to eventually put some back so even my group was able to get items from earlier people who had hung around.
The serious hoarding was on the shoes - women buying ten pairs! Insane.

Mizhattan when are the price cuts likely? I'd like to go back for some jewelry. I keep thinking they must restock otherwise the shelves will be bare for 3 days

    ReplyDelete
  43. I guess I'm a bit pickier in my style, but I really thought besides the clothing, the selection was lame. I got in at 9:15 and though I picked up a bag it was not my first choice which it really should be at the prices you are paying. The small hundred dollar clutches imo were ugly and mostly a lot of gold and patent leather, both not my thing. There are many other designers that are just as cool and scoring a bag is cheaper and easier. I guess if you aren't over the downtown by now you are in luck.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Mizhattan - do you suspect the line to be a wait by Thursday? If so, do u think as long? Also, price cuts?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Nadia & Kate, A fellow Mizhattanite kindly wrote above that a 70% price cut will happen on the last day of the sale.

Also for anyone wondering about restocking, I was told that it is a "possibility". I will ask my contact at YSL and update you on Twitter. Finally, the queue for today's YSL sale has already started with shoppers lining up as early as 6am.

    ReplyDelete
  46. do you know how the stock of rings are?? thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hi I don't have twitter so did it restock today?

    ReplyDelete
  48. complete waste of time today, I was 10th on line left with nothing. The asian women are animals they were hoarding bags even though u were only allowed 3 at a time. All the easys were ripped, saw 2 white clutches damaged, almost no wallets, complete chaos, many line cutters. Never going to a YSL sample sale again!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I went yesterday...was the 5th group to get in and bought a largedark brown downtown and the bag I feel is too big for me. Wish I could return it...but I think its final sale...am I correct?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yes, its 100% final sale. No returns or refunds.

    ReplyDelete
  51. does anyone know if they still have the arty rings today? thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Thanks for the quick reply Jay....so does anybody want a large dark brown downtown? Its too big for me

    ReplyDelete
  53. Julianna I would be interested in buying the downtown from you! Are you selling it?

    ReplyDelete
  54. anyone know if there were any swimsuits left?

    ReplyDelete
  55. I would be interested in buying the dark brown downtown form you, Julianna. And I work in nthe city if you wanted to meet or send the bag. How should I contact you?

    ReplyDelete
  56. I went there yesterday and waited nearly four hours to get in. I'm sorry but 3:30am is just insane, those eBay women are ruining the sample sales for the rest of us.

I am happy that I went. Got a couple of arty rings and wellies for only $50! My friend got two pairs of tributes. It's a shame that the handbag and small accessory selection is so terrible but there are still great deals to be had.

I was told by a YSL employee that they will only restock clothes and that there will be another sale in October! After that though there won't be anymore sales for at least a few years.

    ReplyDelete
  57. A friend who went today said the wait was just under 50mins. Plenty of arty dot rings left, arty flower rings are only in really small sizes.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Dina, Thank you for your review and update on the sale!

And a BIG thank you to all my fellow Mizhattanites for your insights into this event!! MUAH~

    ReplyDelete
  59. JW my BF just picked up several Arty "Dots" rings for me just 20 minutes ago. Several left in all sizes, no line at all right now either.

    ReplyDelete
  60. What's the line like now? I was the first batch this AM they restocked but the bags were horrible (ripped, holes, etc) also yes the ebay resellers are annoying and getting on my nerves!!! Same ladies over and over again and they are mean and uncivilized!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Does anyone know or suspect if there will be a further discount tomorrow morning? Also, when will they restock the clothes. Thank you so much!!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. SALE UPDATE: I am told that there are lots of shoes, patent black downtown bags, and accessories. Also, there is no wait to get in as of 4:40pm.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Do you know what accessories are left?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Just got a Downtown thanks to your info Mizhattan!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Any Y-MAIL left?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Ymail what? Ymail small bags for 200. No more bags or accessory restock. Restocking shoes and clothes tomorrow. No look of discounts till friday as stated above.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Will there be additional markdowns? If so, when?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Did you ask them about the discounts or r u assuming?? Bummer!

    ReplyDelete
  69. To the anonymous post, yes the large downtown in dark brown is too big for me, so I would definitely sell it to you.

    ReplyDelete
  70. no restocking for bag??? really??

    ReplyDelete
  71. Even if an employee tells you that there will be a discount on the last day it’s never a set thing until it happens. Management might think a discount is unneeded if a lot of the stuff sell and they see a large turnout and think more will sell at the set price or the discount can be lower than stated. So if there isn’t a discount don't forget there is no one to blame.

    ReplyDelete
  72. wonder if there is a line today?

    ReplyDelete
  73. as of today (thursday) are there still alot of arty dot rings left?

    ReplyDelete
  74. Julianna, I am very interested in buying the downtown in dark brown from you. Let me know how I should contact you!

    ReplyDelete
  75. there's no line today (Thursday) however the shoes are pretty much all wiped out in the smaller size section, and so are the bags. there are still plenty of arty rings left. no price reductions on any of the items when I was there this morning.

    ReplyDelete
  76. is it still worth going today during lunch?

    ReplyDelete
  77. So the shoes didn't restock today?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Dear Anonymous Racists:
"The asian women are animals they were hoarding bags even though u were only allowed 3 at a time."
Are you serious? Calling Asian women animals?
And leaving out the "animals" part, is it really necessary to point out their race? I don't think that the only people hoarding are Asians. If the women were white, would you say that the white women were hoarding?

    Love,
    Lisa

    ReplyDelete
  79. shoes are not restocking. I am a size 8 and there were nothing in 8s or 8 1/2 that was anything nice at all. they said what is there is what is there...only nice things left were the rings

    ReplyDelete
  80. I second Lisa.
As much as I don't like resellers, I despise the racist comments, or even more. Those who specify the race, or the country of origins to criticize the classless resellers, please realize that your comments are offending the ones of your very own race: "happy sample sale lovers"! Let's be a bit more considerate, so we all can share the information without hurting others' feelings :)

    ReplyDelete
  81. Any 39-40s left? Planning on going after work today.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I just came back from sample sale.
there are still plenty of shoes for big sizes...rain boots for 10s and 11s are still there, $50.
    also, dotted rings are plenty.
    no look of discount.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Do we know if the prices will be marked down starting in the am tomorrow?

    ReplyDelete
  84. Julianna, let me know how to contact you for the Downtown bag please

    ReplyDelete
  85. I was there on the first day, and a staffer told me there would be discounts on the last day, but when I went earlier today, I asked two staffers, and they both said no more discounts or restocking because items sold much better than they anticipated and they are keeping the leftovers to sell in a few months when they hold another sample sale in October.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I was told the same thing. There was such a large turnout the last 3 days that they sold much more stock then they thought they would by now so no discounts are anticipated on the last day anymore.

What’s left is an acceptable amount to have left over, is what I was told.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Thank you all for keeping us informed. I went yesterday and was able to snag a pair of Tribute booties. I planned on going back tomorrow but from the sound of all the tips shared might not be worth it considering I'm a 8 or 8 1/2.

    Thanks shoppers!

    ReplyDelete
  88. No more Tribute sandles for size 7,8,& 9 if that is what you looking for. There are still bags left such as mini size Ymail ($200) small tote ($400) and black patent Downtown ($600). There are only have few satin clutches left. Rings are plenty in different sizes. No more restock, but it will be discount tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thank you to all the commenters for the updates and tips. And a huge thank you to Mizhattan for this great website!!!!! Because of Mizhattan and everyone, I bought a lot of stuff and didn't have to wait in line. TY

    ReplyDelete
  90. My friend went and purchased me one of the black patent downtown bags that was there yesterday / today. I wont receive it until tomorrow... but wanted to know if anyone could tell me the size of what they had in this bag, it was $600.

I think its a medium? Could it be small (I hope not)

    ReplyDelete
  91. Are shoes in small sizes left ...like under size 37?

    ReplyDelete
  92. did anyone see the croc clutches

    ReplyDelete
  93. As of 3:30pm, no farther markdowns. Re RTW, only 1 rack each for size 2 and 4. Old leftovers from 2009-2010. I almost bought arty dot ring since they were the only options for me, but realized that I don't even love arty dot ring, so came out empty handed. I wouldn't go back for the final day even with the price slashed--not worth it for me. I would try the outlet and the sales.

    ReplyDelete
  94. No croc clutches, several gray satin ones, and one black beaded satin one.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Hi Wecos77,
Yes, the $600 Downtown bag is medium size. There were some on the table when I left today. I think that is what your friend got you.

No croc clutches, only satin clutch left.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thanks Anavel,

He took a quick pic for me, and it seemed small.
He said they all looked the same size. I was literally on the phone with him making him compare all the sizes. X_X

    ReplyDelete
  97. i stopped by during my lunch break and i don't think it's worth it to go tomorrow to buy acc/bags even there will be more markdowns. several black patent downtown bag for $600.. and purple multi bag for $500.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Just came from the sale. For size 38 and 38.5, there were still lots of red peep toe tribute heels, satin sandals in various colors (like these:http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-YSL-Yves-Saint-Laurent-TRIBUTE-Blue-Green-Teal-Heels-Satin-Sandals-/320923984578?pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&hash=item4ab88f62c2), and gipsy caged espadrilles in bright colors, and totem gold wedges. Also I saw a number of shoes with very thin heels (sorry, don't know what those are called). I saw some shoes under size 37 too, but they were similar pickings as 38 and 38.5. Definitely, sizes 40 had the best choices. There were still patent black downtown bags, smaller totes (some with letter stamping), bags with horn handles. No wallets. 5 or so clutches left.

    ReplyDelete
  99. What color Arty rings were there?

    ReplyDelete
  100. Arty rings in various colors: blue, purple, coral, black, light purple, etc. This style only--http://coolspotters.com/jewelry/yves-saint-laurent-arty-dots-ring

    ReplyDelete
  101. Just left. As of now no extra mark downs. I spoke to a sales person and the check out guy and was told they don't think there will be any mark downs tomorrow or if there is it will be a very small discount at that.

Seems they sold a lot more then they thought they would.

Most of all the stuff seemed pretty picked over already.

    ReplyDelete
  102. To Anonymous Racist, who wrote "The asian women are animals they were hoarding bags even though u were only allowed 3 at a time": Your words reflect your own personality. And you have no excuse for your ignorance.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Any YMAIL wallets left??

    ReplyDelete
  104. Nope, no Ymail wallet. No wallet in general.

    ReplyDelete
  105. anyone think its worth going tomorrow?

    ReplyDelete
  106. Not worth going tomorrow unless you want an arty dot ring or $50 rain boots (only size 10 & 11 left).

    ReplyDelete
  107. SALE UPDATE: Additional markdowns have been taken at the YSL sample sale for today's final day of shopping.

    ReplyDelete
  108. What are the markdowns at now? And is there a long line?

    thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Do you know how much the additional markdowns are? Wondering specifically about clothes - I saw some clothes that I might be interested in if they are cheaper. I'm trying to decide whether going today would be worth it. I went on Wednesday morning, and the good stuff were already all gone.

    ReplyDelete
  110. i don't think so. all good stuffs are gone even yesterday, i think you'd better to save up those money for next time. not worth it to spend only for the label.

    ReplyDelete
  111. SALE UPDATE: Almost all merchandise is now an additional 50% off.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Does the additional 50% include fur items? Thanks for all the great info!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Does anyone know if there are any sunglasses left around. Was there Tuesday morning. Left empty handed- maybe I'll go back, buy a paid of glasses & make myself feel better. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  114. There were no sunglasses left (or very few left) when I went on Wednesday. So unless they restocked (I doubt it) there won't be any left.

    ReplyDelete
  115. So what exactly is left?

    ReplyDelete
  116. Thanks anon for the very fast response! Looks like I will just wait & try my luck in October.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Just clothes and shoes in larger sizes. Nearly everything else has been cleaned out.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Just left..... No sunglasses.... No bags... Very little belts... Shoes about all gone... Larger size only has a small shot...Clothes picked over...and over... Rings... Just one style and not a lot left... No fur...

Too many hoarders... 1 lady has a whole back table... 48 pairs and counting... She says she's buying all of them... I counted... Ladies are buying 10 - 20 pairs... Still a small line... Not worth it... Unless u have to have a ring and wear a ring size 5 or 6...

    ReplyDelete
  119. are any size 2 or 4 women's clothese left? last year all clothes were $50 around 3 hours before closing. anyone know if that will be case this year too?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Size 2 and 4 had only 1 rack each left... Clothes from $25 - $100... I dont think most stuff will last till noon... A lot of size 2 and 4 buyers running around... Size 10-12 has a better chance...

    ReplyDelete
  121. is there anything at all in the mens section left?

    ReplyDelete
  122. how long was the wait today?

    ReplyDelete
  123. Julianna, are you still interested in selling your bag?

    ReplyDelete
  124. any men logo tshirts left?

    ReplyDelete
  125. No tshirts left.
The wait wasn't that long at all today.
Yes, a lot of button down dress shirtts, a few pink blazers, and 10 pairs of shoes.
Nothing really left in size 2 and 4 clothing.
And that woman with the 100 pairs of shoes should be investigated! This isn't a wholesale dealer! It was very upsetting.

  127. Just feel like I need to point out that lady with 100 pair of shoes was not Asian. I think she was Russian.

  128. I got my Patent Downtown today from my friend who got it for me earlier this week.

Turns out its the SMALL Downtown, and for $600 not a very good deal at all.

    POOP.

But I got about 7 different Arty Rings! I am good for life on those!

  130. The sale last October at Metropolitan Pavilion was much better. I spent $200 with tax and brought a pair of sneakers ($50), a pair of shoes (saw same pair for $150 this year and paid $50 last year), 2 belts ($50/$10), Opium ($10), a cuff ($10), and a tote in pouch ($15). But I can't complain because I snagged a pair of Welly boots for $50 and a belt for 25 this year. Always love a good bargain!

  133. To Mizhattan, or all of the people above. There is a person who keeps coming to every single sale and she buys at least 20 pairs of shoes each time. She always brings people to hold the boxes for her while she is shopping around. She doesn't try on any pair. She usually buys different sizes. What does she do with all these shoes? She probably resells them. Where do these people usually resell all this stuff at a higher price and quickly?

    1. I did a little digging but couldn't find anything online as what you are looking for isn't part of the current collection. I'll ask my contact at YSL and if she can locate the pair, I will update this comment.
