*SAMPLE SALE* Manolo Blahnik

It's that time of year, folks. The autumn season Manolo Blahnik sample sale is here and it's happening TODAY at 12pm. With stilettos starting at $100, this sale is a shoeaholic's fantasy come true. At this year's May sample sale (photos: here & here), mounds of plastic-bagged shoes not only covered the 15 or so tables but also littered the hotel carpet floor. Shoppers lucky enough to attend found a diverse range of pumps, sandals, exotics, and boots. As always, dropping by an ATM is a must as this is a cash-only event. Happy Shopping!

Where: Warwick Hotel, 65 W 54th St. (near 6th Ave.), 2nd Floor

When: Wednesday, October 29th, 12pm

    1. Decimated means that the stock in those sizes is severely depleted.

  11. Found a pair of black BB's for $100! Most painless sale ever.

The girl in line in front of me impressively spent $1600. She had maybe 10-12 pairs of shoes.

  12. were there alot of 37 or 37.5 shoes left?

  13. any shoes smaller than 36?

  14. don't bother if you are 38.5-40. Everything else is good. If you are a smaller size or larger. Not really worth the trek over IMO .

    1. Sorry you couldn't make it. Just remember to think on the bright side. You get to spend it at one of the many other sample sales that are going to pop up in November and December!

  20. Thank you Miz on the tip! I was actually able to make it at a decent time because I checked your post at the perfect time! Sure, the best of the best we're snatched up but there were definitely some treasures. It was my first being able to make it. And it was a bonus that there wasn't a line. All in all it was a great sale!

  21. I am very upset this sale was not announced at least a day early. I was waiting for it since May. Last 2 sales were very civilized, yes there was a long line, but that's normal for a sale like that. Everyone behaved very friendly in line. Did organizers asked bloggers to keep it a secret?

    1. The sale was announced a week ago when the invitations were sent out. This has always theoretically been a "private sale" that eventually opens to the public. Sometimes it leaks and sometimes it doesn't but the source of the leak is not MB. They were really happy yesterday that it didn't leak. They know people will ultimately find out about but but when it doesn't leak, they get to still get rid of the shoes and avoid the frenzy.

  22. Thanks so much miz! I usually stay away from this sale due to the lines, wait and the sheer number of people who show up. With the late notice - I went around 1 and there was a 10 min wait at most in a room filled with 10 ppl at most. The stock was plentiful and lots of current seasons out. I picked up a few pairs I've been lusting after but just could not justify the $700 - $900 price tag till today for $100 - $150!

    Thank you so very much!!!

  23. I'm so glad that I read your tweet in the morning. Headed during lunch time, the wait was short 15-20min and being size 7 there was still plenty to choose from. The staff was frequently restocking the tables (at least the 37s) and while it was a bit messy inside I'm glad it wasn't as insane like the last few years. Sure beats having to wake up at 5am.

I ended up buying two pairs of gorgeous heels. Thanks Miz!
