This week's Ann Demeulemeester & Haider Ackermann sample sale opens to F&F today and tomorrow (May 11th and 12th).     Hey Miz,

    Pucci is having a friends and family sample sale at 33 west 55th street. Not sure how readers can get in. It's going on till Wednesday. I'm sure how can can get in, they can try on Wednesday.

      My bad, it's more like a 2 hour wait. I waited an hour and got about 60% down the line. It's barely moving.

    FYI, last night @ the LR sample sale they were letting women without bags cut the line and go straight in. Not sure if that will be the same today, but if you're planning on going, leave your bags at home/work.

      The issue being that they have limited #s for bag check and had run out, hence the extremely slow moving line.

      Really? That's interesting. Why would they unnecessarily try to create an added layer of tension amongst shoppers? It's already a chaotic sale as is.

      I agree I found it patently unfair that women who were at the end of the line could just stroll into the sale if they had someone with them who could hold their bags. However, the line was going at snail's pace and this was after work. There was no line to checkout inside -- everyone was just trying shoes on. One girl just dropped her handbag off and left it on the floor unattended at the side of the building near the entrance so that she could go in. The wait last night was over an hour (if you had a bag) and the sales associates kept coming out to tell everyone along the length of the line that if they had no bags they could just come to the front and come in.

    All the big name bags were long gone by the time I arrived in the morning. Strange clothes, very expensive. No shoes. The only people buying were Asian women who seemed to be grabbing up a dozen bags at a time at random. Probably for resale. No line, but not worth it,
