Let's end this gloomy Friday on a high note with this exciting news. I just received an invite from YSL stating that they will be hosting their Friends & Family sale starting on October 26th at the Metropolitan Pavilion. No need to worry if you don't have an invitation because the event is open to the public. Since this sale is a little less than two weeks away, you'll have plenty time to prepare yourself by reading the full Mizhattan report from the last YSL sample sale. Also, here's a small sampling of the prices you should expect: Handbags will be $600 (originally $1,550), women's shoes will be $300 (originally $795), leather accessories will be $50, belts will be $50, jackets will be $350, pants will be $150, dresses will be $350, and sweaters will be $250.
Where: Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 W. 18th St. (bet. 6th & 7th Ave.)
When: Wednesday, October 26th. 5pm~8pm
Thursday, October 27th, 8am~8pm
Friday, October 28th, 8am~5pm

ReplyDeleteI attended the VIP preview last year so I can't exactly say how bad the public line will be this year. But, I assume it'll be insane since YSL is a high-profile brand and has a huge following.
