ALERT: Louis Vuitton's Second Price Increase in 2013

With the start of a new month, French fashion giant Louis Vuitton plans to implement a price increase on their renowned leather goods. Though news of price increases from luxury brands is always unwelcomed, it is never unexpected (most high-end labels raise prices as often as once a year). But this particular announcement from Louis Vuitton comes as a shock because it's the company's second increase within a one year period. As you may remember, the luxe fashion house already raised price tags 5~7% on handbags, wallets, and accessories back in February of this year. For November, shoppers should expect La Maison LV to hike prices as much as a 5~9% across the board. For now, the only solution to avoid paying heavily for your next Neverfull, Alma, Lockit, Speedy and other Louis Vuitton goods is to swing by one of their boutiques before this month ends.

  2. thank you so much for this alert. I've been considering couple of things from LV & was actually wondering if price increase might be in the future so I took advantage of your notice & ordered stuff online before I need to shell out more for what I was going to buy anyway. :)

  6. I think it's ridiculous that the prices are increasing, and I mean like what's changing? are they upgrading on the bags? The only difference that I'm seeing are the prices....
